  • ThunderCats will be returning to TV as ThunderCats Roar, a super-deformed, and more comic, iteration of the iconic 80s cartoon, which seems to be drawing inspiration from fellow Cartoon Network series Teen Titans Go.
  • Amazon has made a straight to series order for The Hunt, a Nazi Hunters drama from Jordan Peele (Get Out).
  • Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) has brought a new documentary series about artificial intelligence to YouTube's paid subscription service, YouTube Red.
  • Gillian Anderson (American Gods) is joining Asa Butterfield (Hugo) in Sex Education, a British Netflix dramedy.
  • Showtime has ordered Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's (Good Will Hunting) Boston set drama series, City on a HillThe series will star Kevin Bacon (Tremors), Aldis Hodge (Leverage), and Jonathan Tucker (Westworld).
  • Doctor Who Actors David Tennant and Catherine Tate are reuniting in Sky's Americons, which sees the 2 Brits moving to America.
  • Hulu is jumping on board the Truce Crime bandwagon with, The Act, a scripted season anthology.
  • British boy band idol Harry Styles will be producing the CBS comedy series Happy Together.
  • Roseanne Co-Showrunner Whitney Cummings is leaving the series due to her increasingly busy schedule.
  • Arrow Star Stephen Amell has announced that Batwoman will be joining the Arrow-verse for next season's 4 show cross-over event.
  • Netflix has announced the cast of their upcoming She-Ra reboot, which includes Aimee Carrero (Level Up) as Adora/She-Ra, Jordan Fisher (Grease Live) as Seahawk, Marcus Scribner (Black-ish) as Bow, Lorraine Toussaint (Orange Is the New Black) as Shadow Weaver, Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) as Castaspella, and more, including Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs), Reshma Shetty (Royal Pains), and Keston John (The Good Place)
  • Giancarlo Giannini (Casino Royale) has joined the impressive roster of George Clooney's Hulu series Catch-22.
  • Wilson Bethel (Generation Kill) will be portraying Bullseye on the 3rd season of Marvel's Daredevil.
  • Billie Lourd will be returning to American Horror Story for its upcoming 8th season.
  • Connie Nielsen (Law & Order) has left her co-starring role in CBS' upcoming Dick Wolf (Law & Order) series FBI.
  • Elisabeth Shue (The Karate Kid) will be portraying Madelyn Stillwell in Amazon's adaptation of Garth Ennis' (Preacher) comic book, The Boys.
  • Cameos for season 2 of Marvel's Luke Cage include musicians Faith Evans, Joi & D-Nice, Gary Clark Jr., Esperanza Spalding, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Ghostface Killah, Stephen Marley, Jadakiss, KRS-One, and Rakim.
  • Actress Portia de Rossi appeared on her Wife Ellen DeGeneres' talk show and announced her retirement from acting.  Rossi will appear in season 5 of Arrested Development later this month on Netflix.
  • Amazon's exceedingly expensive Lord of the Rings series will reportedly focus on the early life of Aragorn, who was portrayed by Viggo Mortensen in the Peter Jackson films.
  • Following its cancellation by ABC, Designated Survivor is reportedly being negotiated at Netflix for another season.
  • Siren has been renewed for a second season at Freeform, and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel got its second season from Amazon.
  • Falling Water and The Last Ship have been cancelled at USA and TBS respectively.
