For
this week's episode of The Weekly Set podcast, The Total Screen's Will
and Tyson talk about Netflix's new animated comedy Disenchanted. Disenchanted comes from The Simpsons Mastermind Matt Goening, and is essentially the fantasy counterpart to his science fiction comedy, Futurama. A key difference, when it comes to Disenchanted, is that the story is far more serialized than anything we had seen in The Simpsons or Futurama. While the serialization of the show is an exciting reason to watch the series, it might also be a part of what is to blame for the series numerous faults.
The Weekly Set is the official TV podcast of The Total Screen, in which
your hosts, Tyson Gifford, William Rohrig, and the occasional guest, discuss the latest in
genre TV.
Next week, Will and Tyson talk about the second season of Netflix's American Vandal.
