The Weekly Set Podcast Episode 169

For this week's episode of The Weekly Set podcast, The Total Screen's Will and Tyson continue our discussion of Hulu's new seasonal anthology series, Castle Rock.  Based on the connective tissue of Stephen King's prolific collective works, the first season of Castle Rock tells the story of Henry Deaver a death row Attorney who returns to the home town that largely abhors him.  When he was young, he disappeared for several days, and in the chaos of his disappearance, his adoptive father, a beloved local Reverend, died under mysterious circumstances.  Deaver returns to town after receiving a cryptic call about a young man at Shawshank Prison who is discovered, with no records, after the Warden's suicide.  In episode 6 of Castle Rock, the young man found at Shawshank asks the former Sheriff why he left him in the Warden's trunk.

The Weekly Set is the official TV podcast of The Total Screen, in which your hosts, Tyson Gifford, William Rohrig, and the occasional guest, discuss the latest in genre TV.

Next week, we continue our discussion of the new Hulu series Castle Rock.
