The Weekly Set Podcast Episode 164

For this week's episode of The Weekly Set podcast, The Total Screen's Will and Tyson talk about the second season of Netflix's GLOW. Owing some to a more fully realized show within a show dynamic, the real strength of GLOW's second season, as with its first, were the strong characters, and the believable drama between them.  Ruth had a path to self forgiveness, Debbie had one of self discovery, and Tammé's path was all about coming to terms with and owning the harmful stigmas of racial stereotypes.  At the end of the day, however, it might have been Sam, once again stealing the show, as he came to grips with what it means to be a Parent and a Partner.

The Weekly Set is the official TV podcast of The Total Screen, in which your hosts, Tyson Gifford, William Rohrig, and the occasional guest, discuss the latest in genre TV.

Next week, the duo hold out for the following week's comic con special by taking a look back at some of the best new shows of the first half of 2018.
