The Weekly Set Podcast Episode 160

For this week's episode of The Weekly Set podcast, Tyson is joined by friend of the show Mike D. (aka Donut), and Writer for the site, Alejandro Balderas (Alex).  Will is on vacation, so Mike and Alex joined Tyson to talk about this week's episode of Westworld, KiksuyaKiksuya is a character study of the Ghost nation's leader Akecheta, whose own sentient awakening parallels those of both Dolores and Maeve, though without direct outside influence.  Akecheta's emotional story revolves around his love for Kohana, and how it leads him into the role of a spiritual leader who seeks to awaken other hosts.  Maeve's story was also prominent in this episode, as Lee exposed her secret to Delos in a desperate bid to save her life.  Alex ponders if her best shot at survival is to become a mother brain AI within the other hosts, which leads Mike and Tyson to attempt their best Metroid jokes, because E3 didn't give us the Metroid dosage we had hoped for.

The Weekly Set is the official TV podcast of The Total Screen, in which your hosts, Tyson Gifford and William Rohrig (though he is absent this week), discuss the latest in genre TV.
